Dr. Kendra Blundell was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Growing up she competed in a variety of team sports. Part of a rodeo family, she also became an active member of the California High School Rodeo Association. She eagerly took on leadership positions both in school and in her athletics. This passion, teamed with her excellence in academics, took her to California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, in the fall of 2000.
Here, Dr. Kendra stayed involved with her horses. She took on leadership roles such as Rodeo Club Treasurer and Rodeo Club President. However, this did not stop her from graduating with honors in December 2003 with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology.
In the fall of 2004 Dr. Kendra enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California, to study the science, art and philosophy of chiropractic. In addition to her normal course studies, Dr. Kendra also became a member of the Palmer College of Chiropractic West Sports Council, a group of students and doctors dedicated to advanced training and hands on care for athletes. By December of 2007, Dr. Kendra had earned a Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer West.
When Dr. Kendra isn't working she enjoys spending time with her husband, riding her horse, or playing with her dog.
"I'm an active guy who's getting a little older. I am always playing soccer but it is getting harder and harder to physically keep up. I get a lot more injuries than I used to. Thankfully, Dr. Blundell has always helped me rehab these injuries with a swift, professional diagnosis and effective treatment plan.
